Every June, National Dairy Month rolls around. It started in 1937 as a way to promote milk during surplus season, but it’s grown into something more meaningful—at least for those of us who live close to the industry. It’s a time to stop and give credit to the folks who make dairy happen.
Dairy work isn’t flashy. It’s early mornings, cold hands, and making sure everything’s fed, bred, treated, and tracked—day in, day out. Whether it's a family-run farm or a larger crew operation, what ties them all together is the same grit and routine that keeps milk flowing to the rest of us.
This month, we’re taking a moment to recognize that.
At Amelicor, we see it up close. Our tools like DHI-Plus and EZfeed aren’t just software—they’re part of the daily grind on farms that use them to track health treatments, manage feed, monitor genetics, and keep tabs on production. We build this stuff to make that work a little more manageable. It doesn’t change the early hours or the hard calls, but it helps make sure those decisions are backed by solid data.
We’re proud to support dairy operations worldwide. No matter where the cows are, the challenges are familiar: feed costs, herd health, milk quality, staying ahead of regulations, and keeping the next generation interested in sticking around.
So if you’re in the business of dairy—or you’re someone who just enjoys a cold glass of milk or a bowl of ice cream—this month is for giving credit where it’s due.
Here’s to the folks keeping dairy alive. Your work is noticed, and we’re grateful to be part of it.
